Bird licence applications: create a map of your river sections

Your map or sketch must:

• identify each river section for example 'river section 1, 2, 3'
• record the ten figure national grid references at the start and end point of each river section
• identify important fish areas, for example weirs or bridges where fish-eating birds could gather. This information is very important to understand potential conflict at a critical stage of the fish life cycle (smolt migration)
